The team run groups for all ages and standards from age 3 upwards. The aim of the programme is to provide quality coaching in a fun environment.

The programme is split into Mini Tennis and Full-Court Tennis.

Mini Tennis is tennis especially designed for younger players. Children learn how to play tennis on smaller courts with low bouncing balls and simple scoring. Players move through the levels of Red, Orange and Green when they are able to cope with a bigger court, bigger racket and a faster ball.

Mini Tennis - RED

This is aimed at 4-6 year olds playing with big, low bouncing balls. Players work on co-ordination skills and the basic shots to play the game.

Mini Tennis - ORANGE

45 minutes tennis / 30 minutes co-ordination & conditioning This is aimed at 7-9 year olds and players develop their core tennis skills, rallying and serving using medium-bounce balls in a 3/4 sized court.

Mini Tennis - GREEN

45 minutes tennis / 30 minutes co-ordination & conditioning.

This is aimed at 8-10 year olds and provides the transition to full court tennis. Greater emphasis is placed on technique and matchplay.

Full Court Tennis

These squads are designed for older juniors (11-16's) wanting to take their tennis up a notch. Players learn on a full court with full regular scoring. Full court Tennis embraces all standards, players work on improving their technique, developing their tactical awareness for both singles and doubles and also to work on the physical aspects of the game.

We believe that fitness and movement skills are a key element of tennis and sport in general, and our programme is unique in that it offers all juniors from Orange upwards a specific fitness / movement / co-ordination session each week.
